Car Rental Terms & Conditions

To make your car rental experience in Baku with Voyage Rent a Car in Baku as smooth and convenient as possible, we recommend reviewing the main rental requirements in advance. Below you will find the current terms and conditions for renters.

1. 📄 Required Documents

• Valid driving license 🚘 (detailed requirements can be found here 🔗)
• International passport 🛂
• In some cases, an International Driving Permit (IDP) may be required 🌍

2. 🎂 Age & Driving Experience

• Minimum driver age: 24 years 👦
• Maximum driver age: 65 years 👴
• Minimum driving experience: 2 years 🚦
• Note: Certain vehicle categories may be available for drivers aged 21+ or over 65, subject to an increased deposit and double excess. Please check details with our managers 📞

3. 💰 Payment & Security Deposit

• Accepted payment methods: debit and credit cards 💳, bank transfer 🏦, cashless payments, cash 💵.
• The security deposit can be paid by cash, bank card, or bank transfer.
• Security deposit amount:
  • Standard vehicles — from 300 AZN 🪙
  • Premium class vehicles — up to 3500 AZN 💎
• Deposit refund:
  • Cash payments — refunded on the vehicle return day after inspection. ✅
  • Card payments — refund may take from 3 to 30 days. ⏳
• Booking policy: an advance payment of 20–30% is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance and deposit are paid upon vehicle pickup. 📝
• Deductions from the deposit may apply in case of vehicle damage 🔧, traffic fines 👮‍♂️, insufficient fuel ⛽, or other violations of the rental agreement. ⚠️

4. 🛡️ Insurance Coverage

📌 Standard insurance covers the main risks. In the event of an insurance claim, the renter’s liability is limited to the excess amount.
